Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
This policy explains how Bill Nest (also referred to in the app as AccountsBook) handles information when you use our website or Android app. The service is for business users. For privacy questions or a request to delete your account, email raghavpankaj32@gmail.com.
Information we handle
- Account and sign-in information: name, email address, password credentials for email sign-in, and, when you choose phone sign-in, your phone number and verification status. Google sign-in is handled through Google and Firebase Authentication.
- Business profile information: business name and type, GSTIN, business address and location details you enter, GST settings, and financial-year preferences.
- Business records you enter: customer and supplier contact and tax details, invoices, estimates, purchases, payments, expenses, products, bank-account details, accounting entries, leads, projects, and related reports. These records may contain personal or financial information about people you do business with.
- App and browser storage: sign-in/session information is stored on your device or browser. The mobile app may also keep invoice data and pending offline sales locally so it can display or synchronize them. Do not use a shared device without signing out and clearing its app or browser data. Logging out does not delete your cloud account or business records.
- Optional receipt processing: if a receipt-upload feature is enabled and you use it, the receipt image and text extracted from it may be processed and stored with your account.
- Advertising information: The Android app may display Google AdMob ads. If ads are enabled and shown, Google may process device identifiers, IP address, and ad interaction information subject to your device settings and Google's privacy options. The Bill Nest website does not currently serve Google AdSense ads.
- Service and security information: our API and authentication providers may process connection, authentication, and operational logs needed to provide and protect the service.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, authenticate users, provide the accounting and business-management features you request, synchronize your records across your signed-in devices, respond to support requests, maintain the service, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use business records to serve advertising.
When information is shared
Information is processed by the service providers needed to run Bill Nest, including Firebase Authentication for Google and phone sign-in, Google AdMob for advertising in the Android app, and the hosting/database providers that operate our API and store your account records. We do not sell personal information or use business records to select ads. Google processes advertising information under its own terms and privacy policies; you can manage Google ad personalization at Google My Ad Center. We may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect users, the service, or legal rights.
Retention and deletion
We keep account and business information while it is needed to provide your account. You can request deletion of your account and associated information at any time using the account and data deletion instructions. We verify requests before acting. We may retain limited information where required by tax, accounting, or other law, or where needed to resolve disputes and protect the service.
Deleting your account does not automatically remove files or cached records already stored on your device or browser. Clear the app's storage or browser data separately if you want to remove local copies. Uninstalling the app alone does not delete your server-side account.
Security
Production app and website connections to our API use HTTPS, and account access requires authentication. No online service or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your sign-in details and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Children
Bill Nest is a business service and is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly ask children to create accounts.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service changes. The current version will be posted at this address with its revision date. For privacy questions, access or correction requests, or account deletion, contact raghavpankaj32@gmail.com.
